Dolores County Road & Bridge Permits
Driveway Permit Required:
- To obtain access to property from a county road
- Culvert specifications if needed: Minimum 15-inch diameter, 30 ft long
- Fee $175.00
- If your access is directly off a highway, please contact CDOT at 970-385-3626.
Plow Permit Required:
- Must have permit to plow a county road
- Fee $100.00
Right of Way Permit Required:
- Installation, maintenance, or work of any kind in County Road right of way
- Fee varies per project
Special Transport Permit
- Oversize/Overweight Haul
- Extraordinary Haul Action
- Repetitive Haul
- Fee $250 per calendar year

*Reminder: The Dolores/Norwood Road (Rd 31) is not maintained during November 15-May 15th. Please verify with Dolores County Road & Bridge if roads are open or closed due to seasonal conditions.
