Part-time Assistant Cook

Dolores County Senior Services will be accepting applications for a Part-time Assistant Cook. To be considered, a current application must be filed and applicants must be 18 years or older.

Preferred experience with senior citizens. Preferred cooking experience. Must be able to perform required record keeping as well as following federal regulations. CBI and CAPS background checks are required.

Starting hourly wage is $15.00 an hour.

Benefits include Holiday pay, PTO and other benefits.

Part-time Office Assistant

Dolores County Finance Office will be accepting applications for a part-time Office Assistant. Weekly work hours will very but will not exceed 17.50 hours. To be considered a current application and resume must be filed. 

Preferred experience in accounting and bookkeeping, Excel, and basic computer knowledge. Confidentiality agreement will be in place. 

Starting hourly wage is $15.00. 

Benefits include limited PTO and applicable federal benefits.

Full-time Position with Road and Bridge Department

Dolores County Commissioners will be accepting applications for a Full-time Employee, for the Road and Bridge Department. To be considered, a current application must be filed or on file with the last 3 months, and applicants must be 18 years or older. 

Driver/Operator

Dolores County would prefer a CDL – Class A License w/Tractor-Trailer Experience w/Tanker Endorsement or if a Permit then the ability to get a License by start of employment. 

Also required: Proven Experience on Heavy Equipment - Grader, Backhoe, Loader, D8, Scraper, Skid steer & etc. 

Starting Yearly Salary $41,388.

Income Maintenance Technician

Status: Full time, non-exempt

Summary: The position fulfills the day-to-day activities required by the State of Colorado for child support services, Colorado Works case management, low-income energy assistance, and other assigned programs.

Examples of Job Duties:

  • Adheres to county, state, and federal rules and regulations for all programs.
  • Prepares and completes documents and testimony for court procedures.
  • Works closely with County Director and County Attorney.
  • Completes yearly training for programs assigned.
  • Creates, strengthens, and extends community networks.
  • Becomes knowledgeable about resources and works closely with other staff members and agencies in the service delivery continuum to refer clients to additional resources within the department and community.
  • Enters data into various computer programs such as CBMS, CHATS, etc.
  • Ensures all required client file documentation is completed and correctly maintained.
  • Coordinates the case management needs of clients engaged in multiple programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Maintains confidentiality as required.

Educational/Employment Qualifiecations:

  • A High school diploma or GED is required for this position.
  • Background experience in human or social services programs is preferred.
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a good driving record.
  • Must have working knowledge of various Windows based computer applications.
  • Must have working knowledge of Google programs including Gmail, Drive and Forms.
  • Possesses basic mathematic skills
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Possess the ability to lift 50+ lbs 

Possess the ability sit or stand for long periods of time 

Salary Range: $29,990 – 35,000 + Benefits 

($16.47-$19.23 hourly break down)
